This delicious orange vanilla cardamom cookie recipe is my go-to when making decorated cookies with royal icing. The cookies are slightly chewy on the inside with crispy edges, they keep their shape while baking, and they taste amazing!

The cookies also contain agave syrup, which helps to keep them soft. Agave syrup browns more quickly than sugar, so keep that in mind when baking. This recipe is ideal for making cookies that will be decorated with royal icing!
